This information is sought in line with Article 6 of the GDPR Requirements;
Consent – Article 6(1)(a) you give us consent to the processing of your personal data as part of the action of planning a visit to a venue and sharing your details for a visit.
Contract – Article 6(1)(b) As part of the app function, the terms and conditions clearly state the processing that is necessary for the performance of a contract as part of the app.
The personal information you share in relation to your disability is classed as a special category as per Article 9(2)(a) – As part of the sign-up process, you give us explicit consent to share this information with a venue once you book a visit.
Sending you information by email about our services
We want to keep you up to date, but we’ll only do this with your permission via opting in to our marketing emails.
Sharing with venues
When you book a visit to a WelcoMe venue we will share your details to allow them to provide you great customer service, they may also use your data to share marketing updates and promotions, but only if you opt in to their marketing emails during the visit creation process.

Anything you’ve said to us - for example on the phone, instant chat, social media or by email.

You give us some information when you use our site or app. This includes your IP address, device type and your location. We can also see how you use our website and app.

Location Data
Your location is needed, to share your location when you trigger your arrival at a venue. This makes sure you get the best possible customer service experience from venues that you visit.
We are the sole owner of the information collected on the Site and by using the App. We also anonymise and aggregate personal information (so that it doesn’t identify you) and use it for purposes including research, data analysis, improving our site and app and developing new products and services.
Sharing your information
We do not sell any of your personal information to any third party. That includes your name, email address or personal information.
We do share some of your data with the following as an essential part of serving you and in our capacity as controller in the interaction between you and the venues.
Venues where you've booked visits through the platform, to ensure they can fulfil the visit.
These venues may contact you in an operational capacity as part of their customer service to you and your visit requirements.
They may also request your permission to use your information to send you marketing emails,(if you opt in to receive these)
Where we do share your information with these venues they will process it in accordance with their terms and conditions. Please check with the relevant venue for more information, or contact us at hello@wel-co.me where we can provide further information.
We may also provide third parties with aggregated but anonymised information and analytics about our customers, but before we do so we’ll always make sure that it doesn’t identify you.
Marketing Messages
If you’ve given us permission, we’ll send you marketing messages by email to keep you aware of what we’re up to and how you can use our products.
If you want to stop marketing messages from WelcoMe.
You can stop receiving marketing messages us from any time:
By clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email
By contacting our Support Team support@wel-co.me
If you stop marketing messages, we’ll not stop service communications such as venue confirmation via our transactional email service.
Keeping your information
We make every effort to ensure that our practices, procedures and systems comply with the relevant data protection legislation.
We’ll hold onto your information as long as you have your account, or as long as required to be able to provide the services to you. If you inform us that you no longer desire our service, we shall correct, update or remove your personal data provided to us.
