WelcoMe and MS Trust Launch Support This MS Awareness Week
This Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week, WelcoMe is launching support specifically tailored to people with MS. WelcoMe is delighted to be working in a collaborative partnership with MS Trust to bring even wider accessibility awareness to businesses and staff-teams.
A new report from the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Trust highlights the stark reality for those living with the condition. 88% of people with Multiple Sclerosis in the UK feel unable to cope.
WelcoMe and MS
For people navigating MS and its symptoms, WelcoMe offers a unique, dignified opportunity to share their needs with teams who will be giving care or customer service.
MS presents differently in everyone, so the communication tools in WelcoMe can offer free support to have personalised experiences and avoid awkward conversations.
By its nature MS is an unpredictable disease which results in a range of ‘invisible’ symptoms which can often erode all aspects of everyday life if access to specialist care is not made readily available. The MS Trust has this week released a new report: Life changing: the hopes and fears of the MS community in 2022, which explores the personal experiences of people living with MS in the UK today.
You can now access support for more accessible experiences as a person living with MS using WelcoMe.
If you or someone you know is struggling with aspects of life as a result of living with MS, do get in touch with the MS Trust helpline on 0800 032 38 39 or ask@mstrust.org.uk.
